We join all communities in wishing everyone remains safe during this uncertain time. I wanted to reach out and update you on how we’re approaching the global corona virus pandemic.

In order to safeguard our community members, volunteers, docents and staff, The Water Conservation Garden has closed and will be canceling all in-person meetings, workshops and events through March 31st with potential closures beyond that point. Our Spring Garden & Butterfly Festival will be postponed until further notice. Please know that we are taking all possible precautions to ensure the health and safety of participants, volunteers and staff. All administrative staff are working remotely to support The Garden’s mission while our facilities and horticulture team continue to care for all the plant species and maintenance at The Garden.

Our thoughts go out to everyone who has been impacted by this health crisis. We extend our heartfelt wishes for a full recovery for all those who have fallen ill and extend the utmost gratitude to our courageous healthcare professionals who are on the front line. This moment in history reminds us that we are all connected. As we continue this journey together, please continue to believe in our movement to conserve water and other precious resources. The Water Conservation Garden continues to work tirelessly to protect the health of our water and local environment.

Continue to follow us at TheGarden.org for more updates. We appreciate all you do to make our world a better place.

Sincerely,

Jennifer Pillsbury

Executive Director/CEO
