You are encouraged to attend whatever your abilities. The instructor gives three levels of workout intensity from beginner to advanced options. The biggest challenge for most people who are new or returning to fitness, is getting themselves in the door - Or in our case the garden gate! Give it a try, and we'll learn together.

Lisa Griffiths has been teaching yoga for 18 years. Her teaching style is joyful and inclusive, blending flow concepts with alignment sensibility. Her classes vary in type from Vinyasa to Gentle and Restorative yoga. A strong believer in mindfulness meditation, she always weaves these elements into her classes.  Additionally, Lisa leads Livestrong at the YMCA group, a fitness and wellness program for cancer survivors that include yoga and mindfulness meditation.

Lisa is a Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 200, YACEP) with Yoga Alliance.  She completed her teacher training with Yoga Works in 2006 and continues to develop her knowledge each year with continuing education. She has studied with Richard Miller to learn his iRest Yoga Nidra program and is currently working toward her 500 hr certification, studying with Tiffany Cruikshank and other YM teachers.
